  • How do I know when my car is outside?

Your Driver will text or call you to advise he is outside

  • How can I pay?

We accept all major debit/credit cards via paypal, BACS and onboard via Paypal here credit card machine. Alternatively, you can pay the driver in cash on the day.

  • How far in advance do I need to book my car?

for longer journeys such as airport transfers we recommend booking as soon as you can particularly in peak holiday time. It is best no later than 48 hours in advance. For local journeys we are happy to take calls at anytime and your driver wil be able to advise when he is next available however for a set pick up time we recommend this is booked at least 24 hours in advance. 

  • Do we get a written confirmation of a booking?

We are happy to send you a calendar reminder or confirmation via email as long as you provide an email address. Our driver will also message you on the day too to reconfirm the pickup.

  • Are your prices per vehicle or per passenger?

All our prices are per vehicle.

  • What vehicle do you have?

JET cars currently has 1 vehicle which is a top of the range Ford Galaxy titanium in Black. this vehicle has 6 seats. 

  • Can you provide a child car seat?

JET cars does have a highback booster (forward facing) and booster seat available for younger children however if you would like to specifically use you own car seat we are happy to use this and store it for your return journey.

  • What journeys can you do?

We cover everything from local journeys including hospital visits, shopping trips, pub/club, restaurants, private parties, to railway stations, airports, cruise / ferry terminals, events including race days and theatre / stadium trips. 

  • Do you do tours/sightseeing?

Yes, we offer hourly/daily hire for tours/sightseeing and are completely flexible to your needs. Our driver is local  and has 30+ years knowledge of Yateley, Sandhurst, Wokingham, Camberley & Fleet so can give advice on specific places in that area if required. 

  • Do we have to pay a deposit to secure a booking?

In most cases for longer distance journeys we would ask for a deposit. In a few cases we will ask for the whole amount to be paid in advance. If you pay the full amount in advance and cancel with more than 24 hours before your journey, you will be refunded up to the originally agreed deposit amount. Only in exceptional circumstances would your deposit be refundable.

  • Why do we have to pay a deposit?

We have found that there are a minority of people who book and then cancel at the last minute. This then leaves us with a driver and vehicle that cannot be re-booked with someone else. Or worse if a driver is already at the pickup point and has already used fuel to get there. 

  • Will you meet us at any time of day?

Yes, we provide a service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Call us or message at anytime.

  • What is your Passenger Safety policy?

Passenger safety is our priority. JET cars is licensed with Hart district council for private hire. We hold a full UK drivers license. We have under taken and passed;

Our vehicle is less than 3 years old and is safety checked every six months

  • What happens if it snows?

Our vehicle is equipped for snowy conditions and our driver is specifically trained in how to manage that. We will allow extra travel time. Adjustments may need to be made if your pickup is from a residential street that is impassable but your driver will liaise with you on a case by case basis. If you are due to go on a longer journey and the police have issued a red weather warning or your flight is rescheduled we are happy to transfer any payment including the deposit to another date and time. 

Airport  transfers:

  • Will I be charged extra if my flight is delayed?

No, we do not charge you any extra if your flight is delayed. We will monitor your arriving flight as well as the traffic conditions on the airport route.  Our driver is usually dispatched one hour prior to the advertised landing times. The only time an additional cost may be incurred is if additional parking charges have occurred if you have booked the meet and greet service and not come to meet your driver within 1 hour of the official landing time. similarly if you have not been in communication with the driver and there are charges incurred at pickup point. 

  • Where will I meet my driver after landing at the airport?

If you have booked meet and greet, your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals area with a meeting board. This is  usually 30 minutes after the flight has been confirmed to land. We will also text / call you after the official arrival time with a more specific location. particularly if waiting outside the terminal in the pick up area. Please take a note of our phone number at the time of booking in the event you need to call us.

  • Do I need to pay for parking?

Car parking is factored into the pickup cost if doing a meet and greet and allows for 1 hour waiting time. for pickup points which charge to wait, the first 15 minutes will be included and we will discuss a plan of how to avoid incurring any additional costs when booking. (Currently only applies to MAG airports including Luton, & Stansted) For Heathrow T2,3 &5 there is no pickup point so this is a meet & greet only. Cost will be given when quoted. 

  • If our plane is delayed will you still be there to collect us?

When you book with us we ask for a return flight number, so that we can monitor the incoming flight and alter our expected arrival time accordingly.

  • Can you guarantee to get me to the airport on time? 
We will always ask for your flight departure time when booking and will automatically assume that you are required to be there a minimum of 2 hours prior. We will factor in average journey time and the time of day you are travelling when arranging a pickup time. We will also begin monitoring traffic 1 hour before this in case of delays and will contact you to recommend leaving earlier if we believe it is required. JET cars cannot be held responsible for a missed departure that is outside of our control.
